Lay of The Land

:bulletpink: The basics of the sky and ground

During the day
As a result of Radoniums’ creation, the sun has begun to die at a faster rate, creating rather cold and very dim days. In 2011 the plants had begun to suffer from the affects and the humans had to use to Radonium to keep them alive. This caused a chemical change in the plants and gave certain ones the ability to speak. The majority of them now have purple or blue leaves. It is extremely rare to see a green tree during these times, and doing so promises good luck.

During the night
The moon was shattered long ago during the war, so it sits in the sky in fragments and hardly glows at night, leaving the people with incredibly dark nights. An average temperature is 23 degrees Fahrenheit, so not many humans go out at night.

Time
A thirteenth hour has been added to the clock, along with a thirteenth month due to the longer winter season. The month is completely free of the sun and has nothing but ice and snow. The new war began just two day before the end of this month. Ialu is the name of this month.

:bulletpink: Basichio

It is a large city with some of the most advanced technology there is. The sidewalks move and there is hardly a plant in sight. The buildings are mostly white and lights are neon blue. The blue color comes from the Radonium, so it likely to attract some of the dreams. Very often the city will blow a circuit and it is common for quite a few people to die from the blow of the released magic.
Despite this, people continue to thrive here, and often people will simply flock to the scene to see the beautiful scene glow in the dark night sky.

:bulletpink: Garden Wood

A small, forested town about fifty miles from Basichio. It is very beautiful since it is almost always covered in frosty snow. The technology isn’t as advanced as it is in Basichio, but it will still come in great handy when needed.

:bulletpink: Dead Lands

Because of the slowly fading sun, this dessert had become eerily cold and dim, but never acquires any snow. It is miles from any large civilization, but many adventurers come looking a fight, and botanists come looking for an extremely rare flower that grows here as a result of the Radonium. The flower brings death upon any who inhale it’s fumes, which are hard to resist, since the flowers beauty attracts people towards it.

:bulletpink: Snow Point

An extremely cold and snowy terrain. The snow levels have been known to reach record heights here and those without many layers of warm clothing are not advised to come here. Those who live here very rarely leave there houses, but occasionally are forced to retreat to warmer places. As a result of the Radonium, the chilly winds and cold air sometimes freeze the fire that warms the inhabitants of the town. Sometimes it will even freeze a person’s heart, killing them in an instant.

:bulletpink: KristallWald

A long cavern like area filled with large masses of living crystal, it is said that only in this place can one see the full moon. The crystals grow and behave like plants, some taking the form of large trees with shining flowers, some in the form a dangerous rose tipped briars. Some people claim to have that seen a masked man running through the cavern, clad in silver and light

:bulletpink: The Underground Center
At one point a group of scientists attemted to start an underground city, protected from the dangerous climes above. This "underground city" was designed to run on Radonium, lit by an artificial sky and temperature-regulated to a balmy 76 degrees fareheit all day, all year. An entire city was built beneath the Death Lands before the Radonium equipment was installed. However, the scientists overestimated the strenght of the materials they were using to contain the Radonium and their own designs, and the main circut for the city exploded as soon as it was activated, killing the engineers and irrevocably contaminating the area with Radonium. There is no longer any illumination to be found within the city, and the entrance is hidden, but the city is far from inacessible and the Radonium levels are low enough to allow humans safe passage. Dreams sometimes pop up here...

If the judges would like to add any new places, feel completely free to do so!
